Rise of the Phoenix

*In The Secret Back Pathways: Pandora Headquarters*

Tara: Soooo….We were told to work out these files….but not leave that room….Do you think Alastair will praise us for this, then kill us? Or kill us, then praise us at our funerals?

Nadia: T realy!!!! Well…. I can see both  TT.TT
We have a while to get to the archives - it’s two floors from where are now. It’s a good thing the emergency lights are just about running.  It’s a little unstable ahead so watch out -
WAAA!!! *trips*

Tara: Watch that floor. It’s deceptively flat.

Nadia +.+ Fuck yoooooooooou!!!!!!

Tara: Later, dear. Anyway, joking aside, this book we’re going to find, the one that was mentioned in that decoded message. What exactly was it about that it could help….whoever the person was on about learn about the mundane and mystic?

Nadia: *Glare* Like I said before, I only went so far; when I was a rookie, I was beginning to get obsessed with it.
One of the higher ups told me not to read deep into ‘things,’ you see- several agents went and lost there mind trying to decode it.
The book, from what I can gather, used to be a catalogue or something. Part of several books. But every once in awhile it references a greater evil/ war of some kind. I thought nothing of it until now.

Tara: Oh, we should be ok then, we lost our minds years ago. Haha!

Nadia: Speak for yourself, sister!!!!

Tara: Eh, sanity’s overrated. But anyway, if it’s got that much info in it that it caused people to lose their minds figuring it out, not to mention that passage from before…..the writer must really love the person they did that book for, don’t you think?

Nadia: ture, but think about it like this considering it was written in the Dynuno Koubu i think it may have been written for a god by a god. So in theory it would may sense for ‘mundane’ beings like us to not completely comprehend.

Tara: I guess so. Our poor fragile minds and all that jazz. Still, just think about it once it is decoded. I mean, the agents could learn, like, tons of stuff about the mystic world that none of us knew before. Though….yeesh, think of what might happen if these buggers blowing up the place might do with it?

Nadia: exactly, that’s the reason why we need to get there before that happens. But still I’m a little afraid that book… i think it contains something powerful or at least parts of something powerful.

Tara: Uh….powerful? Like….blow up the world, powerful, or summon all of hell powerful, or....?

Nadia: both… i think throughout the book there were designs and models for prototypes. I remember there was a spell and a warning written on it too, but I can’t quite remember what, though. It was too complicated, so I ended up skipping it without completely translating the whole thing.

Tara: Well, I guess that we might have to work on that bit too. Uh….Assuming we get to it in one piece and everything. I’ve not heard anything for a while...do you think that Alastair and ??? are alright?

Nadia: have you seen them fight? They’re fine together. They fight like they’re ten men.
By the way, turn this way. It’s a half mile walk to the first floor. God this place is huge -.-’

Tara:What do you expect, this place was made when bigger was better. Think you’ll be alright with that leg of yours? Eh….sorry, I guess I’m a bit of a worry wort, but you gotta tell me if you’re struggling - you’re the only one out of the two of us that even knows where that book is.

Nadia: it’s fine, I faced much worse when I was a field agent. Plus, it’s only a flesh wou…

*Distant voices*

Voice: So where’s that damn book. I want it now!!!

Voice: Yes Ma’am!

Voice: Blow this place to smithereens if you have to, just get it to me! We need to bring it back to Phoenix, asap.

Nadia: Damn, so it’s a race between us and Phoenix after all.

Tara: You concentrate on the book. If we need it, I’ll run interference. But either way, we can’t screw around about this. Alastair and ??? are counting on us

Nadia: I know…. Ok then i guess we’ll need this. *Opens bag and pulls out two hover boards* And to think, I was going to throw these out. They’re a little dated, but they’ll get us to the next level a lot quicker.

Tara: Dated Smated, let’s go!
