I'll Close My Eyes So I Wont Hear You Cry Pt 4

[Disclaimer: The following chapter contains themes of a more Smexual, and violent nature. You have been warned!!!]

Rozyus: *Chuckle* Am I that predictable?

Inari: No, the opposite. How long do you think I’ve been watching you? I’ve watched long enough to know when something is wrong. I know when someone has messed with your mind, made you doubt yourself. But everything else…? Sometimes I….just don’t know. You’re a mystery. One moment you’re here, the next you’re in a place I just can’t follow. Even so, I want to try. As your husband, it’s my job to be by your side, to find you when you’re lost.

Rozyus: Even though you're more likely to leave me behind…? My feelings are still the same… My Lord, you are better suited for the one of your own.

*Inari sat up again, leaning over the boy, eyes flashing.*

Inari: Whose influenced your thoughts? Tell me.

Rozyus: It doesn't matter! You need that person as they need you. Who delivered the message matters not, the sentiment is still the same. It’s not like I don't know the stories.

*There it was, the kaleidoscope colored light, an empty room. Still, the boy’s perfume faintly lingered.*

Inari: Ok…. I know what I have to do now… My love, wait for me.

*Though he was still in the other plain for now, Inari made his way through the hall towards his chambers, a plan in mind of what to do next as his eyes settled on a particular potted plant sitting in the window where the sun might reach it. Gently, he stroked the petals, awakening an old friend. He couldn’t help but smile as the flower fairy stirred, it’s eyes landing on it’s master*

Inari: Its been a while, old friend.

Flower Fairy: *Smile*

Inari: Rozyus…can you sense him? I need you to find him. You can do that, can’t you?

Flower Fairy: *Nod*

Inari: Thank you.

*The fae closed its eyes, placing its hands on the ground. As Inari watched, faint lines pulsed thought the temple grounds, searching.*

Inari [Inner Thought]: *Nod* Good. If he’s somewhere in the corporeal plane then we’ll be able to find his presence...hopefully. If not, then I’m unsure what other options I have…

*Still, until the fair had finished it’s search, there was little Inari could do but wait. Getting irritable or impatient would do him no good. As such, slipping hands into his sleeves he leaned against the wall to wait.

Almost an hour passed before something happened. For a moment, the fairy’s expression changed from one of concentration, to confusion, before finally it’s head jerked up, finally finding the boy’s presence. Sensing movement, Inari looked up as the small creature fluttered toward a large mirror, chirping something that sounded like some kind of spell to the god’s ear. Quickly, Inari pulled from the wall to watch.

The mirror seemed to flicker, like water dropping into a smooth pond, rippling until a picture formed. There, in the glass, Inari could see Rozyus, along with another male who seemed to be preparing to leave the foreign looking garden that the two seemed to be located. Inari’s eyes flickered as he clicked his tongue.

Tired, the fairy bowed, its job completed as it excused itself to it’s potted plant to rest after expending so much energy. A little guilty for forcing it to do so, Inari watered the plant with the special waters of the cleansing pool as a reward. If nothing else, it would at least offer a pleasant respite to his old friend. Once he was sure the fairy was seen to, he turned his attention back to the mirror.

No longer was it just a mirror, but now a gateway. Face set, Inari reached out to its surface and stepped through.

The world, or perhaps pocket dimension, he had entered seemed to have been hastily constructed, likely by the boy himself. It was something Rozyus had done in the past when feeling trapped, hide away from the world for a while until he was prepared to face his troubles once again. Even so, it didn’t explain why the boy would let that dog in. He would rarely even let Inari in, even when Inari wasn’t the cause of any trouble. So what made that mutt so special?

Squashing those thoughts down with a shake of his head - not important right now - Iari pressed forwards. He could feel Rozyus’ presence now, just a little further ahead. There, laying against a tree, the boy slept. Young fae danced around him, playfully braiding his hair and adorning it with flowers and other accessories that might make it look pretty, though from where Inari wasn’t sure.

It was…nostalgic, seeing him like this. Though older, Rozyus still resembled an angel straight from a tapestry. Keeping his steps light so as not to awaken him, he approached*

Inari: Such a beauty to behold...My friends, would you allow me to rest beside the fair maiden? On my honour, I promise no harm shall befall her.
*For a moment, the flutter of fairies fitted around the pair, before disappearing behind the tree. Taking it as an affirmative, Inari gracefully sat beside his young love. With gentle fingers, he reached over, stroking the boy’s soft hair, curling it around his finger before kissing it softly, letting the silky strands fall once again. Unconsciously, the boy himself stirred a little, curling closer to his frame, warming him to the core*

Inari: *Scoff, wiry smile* My lady, I have to wonder when you will decide to stop worrying me so. Or when you will stand to fight for yourself and your desires instead of bending to the will of others. After all, the night where I almost deflowered this sacred rose...Heh...well, you made it quite clear just where your thoughts and desires truly lay.

*As if his words had somehow reached the boy’s dreams, Rozyus snuggled into the young god’s arms*

Rozyus: *Sleep talking* ‘Nari…I’m sorry… I love you… Don’t go… Zzzzz.

*Heart fluttering, yet somehow aching at the same time, Inari leaned his head against the boy*

Inari: *Scoff* Me? Leave you? Silly Rozyus, I’d never leave. Should this body fade, I’d stay by your side, always. I made you a promise when we were children, remember? Hm...well, I suppose I’d forgive you for forgetting - you were half asleep at the time. Though you have a horrible habit of forgetting many things. How cruel...those lips proclaim to love me. Those same lips throw me away...and promise yourself to another...

Rozyus: *Sleep talking* I’m sorry…

Inari: *Dark grin* Not enough this time, my lady. How much has that mutt had of you, I wonder? Tell me.

Rozyus: ...‘Nari…

Inari: *Sigh* What? What do you want, calling me so sweetly? Honestly.

*Almost reluctantly, a small smile graced his lips. It was hard to hold even a parody of anger with him like this. Leaning close, he kissed the boy softly. A moment later, the boy’s eyes fluttered open*

Rozyus: *Shock* ‘N-Nari! How did you- Mnnh!

*The god kissed the boy a little deeper. Though surprised Rozyus did nothing to push him off, allowing himself to be pressed back against the crook of the tree. With a snap of Inari’s fingers, the boy’s robes fell open, allowing the young god to kiss a trail down the boy’s frame while his fingers ghosted against his delicate skin as the boy arched to his touch*

Inari: *Between kisses* It wasn’t easy. Getting here. Finding you was. A greature chore.
*Rozyus whined, breath uneven as Inari began teasing at the skin, leaving obvious marks that Rozyus barely even noticed from the pleasure he left in their wake, compliant at Inari flipped him over and drew back the boy’s hair, nuzzling against the skin to find the sweet spot that left him shivering before biting down hard enough that he could taste copper. He knew he was tempting fate, but...the boy’s scent, even to his nose, not as sharp as Rozyus’, could smell it, like an intoxicating perfume that seemed to cloud his reason. He groaned, bucking his hips as he pulled the boy closer, feeling him press back, matching his rhythm enthusiastically against his manhood.

Encouraged by Rozyus’ reaction, the god’s hands began to wander, over his chest, down to his member, enclosing over the smooth skin making the boy let out a near primal whine as he seemed to fall apart at Inari’s touch.*

Venus [Telepathic Voice]:  You might as well take him if you’re going to do all that.

Inari [Telepathic Voice]: Out of my head. I know what I’m doing. Go away.

Venus [Telepathic Voice]: Humph! See if I help you then!

*Thankfully, the presence left. With no more distractions, he turned his attention to his lover once more. It had been hard enough to even offer Venus the slightest mental voice when Rozyus had been doing everything just right for him*

Inari: *Low Husky voice* But I must say, my dear, it was worth it, tasting you. Hearing your sweet sirens call, luring me in.

*That seemed to snap Rozyus out from whatever lustful nature that had been bubbling over, attempting to push the young god away.*

Rozyus: We can't do this anymore. I’m promise to-

*Though it was hard to pull back, he wasn’t taking him unwillingly. Instead, he carefully turned the boy back over and kissed him on the crook of his neck, before pulling back to look into his eyes, which reflected the longing that Inari knew they both shared. It would be easy, so easy to just fall back into the rhythm they had before, but he stopped, just before their lips were about to touch once again*

Inari: You were promised to me. Even now, you are still recognised as my wife and queen until that cur touches and tastes your skin. And well...as for that…

*The sound of a sword being drawn, slicing through air was broken by the sound of shattering metal. With a lazy confidence, Inari tilted his head to gaze at his heated rival, lowering the hand he had risen to allow the half of the blade still clasped in his fingers to drop to the ground with a dull clank. His opponent's hand, still holding half a shattered sword shook slightly, but the man shot the god a menacing gaze, the air thick with killing intent. However, Inari merely tilted his head, staring challengingly back, unfaltering*
Inari: As for that, I’ll kill him before he gets that chance. But it seems you know that, right, puppy dog?

Soldier: *Snarl* Bastard!

*Uncaring that his sword was snapped in half, the Soldier lunged forwards at Inari who quickly pushed Rozyus back before he could try to stop the attack and get in the crossfire, rolling to his feet, the Soldier quickly following. Broken blade or not it would still cause damage if stabbed into skin. Inari quickly shifted, dodging, moving out of the way until he saw and opening and darted in, grasping the other’s hand as he tried to bring the broken blade on his head. Snarling, the Soldier pressed, muscles straining as he tried to overpower the god bringing the blade closer and closer, hoping to angle it against Inari’s neck and slice the jugular.

He could hear it, Rozyus’ voice in the background begging them to stop, but Inari couldn’t unless he wanted the Wolf to kill him. Instead he twisted around, letting the soldier stumble forwards, the force pressing against him suddenly lost. With him off balance, Inari grabbed the outstretched arm and yanked it over his shoulder, sending the larger male crashing to the floor with a grunt, however he quickly rolled away as Inari’s heel struck where his head would have been, scrambling back to his feet. However, Inari, straight backed, not even panting, picked up the remainder of the blade that had fallen from loosened grip, throwing it into the ground between them, causing the panting Soldier to draw up short, if only to  avoid having the blade stab through his foot.*

Inari: Continue as you are, and all it with end with is one of us committing sin in a fit of rage.

Soldier: I don’t need your lectures, Bastard.

Inari: Somehow, I think you do. You are not ready for Morihinda, not as you are, and certainly not with your blade like that. If you must go through with such a farce, train. Train hard. And then I’ll agree to your challenge. But only then.

Soldier: *Grit Teeth* …..

*Turning away, the young male left the constructed world, cursing the young god all the while. Paying the Soldier no mind for now, Inari turned his attention back to the rather rattled Rozyus who slumped, pale faced, by the tree. Carefully, he made his way back to him, brushing hair from his face, concern in his eye*

Inari: Are you alr-

Rozyus: Are you a Fucking MORON!?!? The hell do you think you’re doing, challenging him to-!

Inari: I am doing what must be done. After all, though you promised yourself to me, you promised yourself to another. Morihinda is the only way it can be settled. If that is what it takes, I’m prepared. I am not blindly stumbling into this, Rozyus.

Rozyus: You’re an idiot…. You could lose everything… Your godhood… Your wealth...Your… life….I know you weren’t fighting with all you have - you were holding a lot back for his sake…. He’s a good guy and all. I don’t want either of you to get hurt. So please, call this off.

Inari: No, I won’t. I can’t. Because even if I did, what is there for me, what joy is there in divinity, or wealth, or a life, if you are not in it? So...I cannot call it off. All I ask is that you believe in either of us. And, when I win, return to my side. Do you understand, love?

Rozyus: *Knitted Brow* You’re crazy, you know that?

Inari: *Closed Eyes, Smirk* Then please, blame the person who made me this way.
